Parentless Kids Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic

The United Circle of Love is a Grief Support Program that supports an inclusive community of children and young adults ages 5-24 who has experienced the loss of a parent, caregiver or sibling.

Your child's healing in a safe space with Mental Health experts on-hand, coupled with a  caregiver support system that focuses on healing the entire family unit is our primary focus.

Parentless Kids Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, more than 140,000 children have lost a primary or secondary caregiver according to the National Institute of Health.  Their reporting went on to say that children of racial and ethnic minorities accounted for 65% of those who lost a primary caregiver due to the pandemic.

In addition, the loss of a parent due to COVID-19 can have profound and lasting effects on a child’s emotional well-being and future development, UCOL, is here to address those children and young adults.

How UCOL, Inc. Helps…

Parentless Kids Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic

How UCOL, Inc. Helps…

* The Circle of Healing - This circle is for the kids and young adults only. Each group is age specific and is an empathetic setting where children connect with others who understand their pain. To ease any discomfort, we start with a fun icebreaker and work on a group activity while sharing our stories of loss.

* The Caregiver Circle - Our Caregiver circle is a healing space where the parent/caregiver find solidarity and strength in each other’s shared experiences of loss and learn and share self-care skills.

* Circle of Love Get-a-Ways - Our members enjoy activities off-campus in age appropriate environments hosted by our sponsors. (i.e. bowling, skating, hiking, live events etc.)

* United Circle of Love Annual Memory Walk in honor of our members loved ones.

...and so much more!
